This summer our whole life has revolved around "The Eagle Project"! We have talked about it every day for months and months and months - and now it is winding down to the end. Last night Derrick and I worked on the final report and getting his sash updated with merit badges. He has earned 5 in the last few months (which he will be given tonight) and once they are on the sash, and he gets thru his Eagle Board of Review tonight, and turns in the project tomorrow, it will be out of our hands. Weird feeling!
But now we have to move on to ACT/SAT testing, senior pictures, and hopefully planning an Eagle Court of Honor!

that's always how it is isn't it? on to the next project,... I think that's why I really enjoyed conference this year because it was all about enjoying the now and quit looking to some future goal to make you happy hahaha.. It really helped me to check myself and make sure I'm not getting caught in that trap. :)
